Unreliable Idea # 7 Photo Scavenger Hunt

Photo Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt's in general are good exercises in building community amongts groups with a light touch of competition. Break the group up inot small teams [4-6 people]. For cameras: either pre-arrange for them to bring/borrow enough digital cameras or for safety sake buy one disposable camera per team [collect, process film and award prizes next group meeting].
Design a sheet with pictures according to the time available eg. [5] compulsory pictures and [5] from a list of [10] and allocate points out of [5] per picture according to perceived degree of difficulty. Every place is different so design your own creative shots, interactions with the general public, risk of stupidity or interference with public property etc. Make a rule that nothing illegal or inappropraiet be done by participants [judges decision final]. Have prizes so every team wins something!
Think creativley and have the group pose in fun places, needing to ask members of the general public to assist, or permission to be in a shop, arcade or building AND stipulate group numbers in the shot so they can't use seperate cameras and finish too early!! Have fun!!
