Had a check up with my orthopedic surgeon today [over 12 months since I ruptured both kneecap tendons playing rugby for Wanderers]!! He reckons its a great outcome to injuries he'll likely never see again [not both knees anyhow!!]
He even reckoned I could play footy [chances of re-injury, very high, but that I had recovered well] Its OK... there's no chance!!
As written elsewhere I still miss playing [every week] but thats life!!
