Worship Unplugged # 2 Newspaper Prayers

Newspaper Prayers
This prayer 'activity' involves handing out multiple copies of the newspaper or some clippings you've chosen. Invite people to break up into smaller groups [3-4 people] and to choose/read the story for their group.
As a group ask and discuss:
Whats the story?
Whats the story behind the story? [the bigger issue/the causes/the ramifications]
Therefore what should we pray about?
How might we act locally to change this situation globally?

If time allows ask people to briefly say a prayer and/or give feedback to the bigger group, but its the activity that is introduced as a prayer so this isn't necassary.

Play some appropriate music as background while the groups do the activity.
