Biting and somewhat black humour in the style of 'Heathers' as this story takes us into the admittedly American High School setting alongside Cady Heron [Lindsay Lohen of 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' and 'Freaky Friday'and touted as the next big thing].
Cady moves from Africa where she has lived due to her parents zooilogical work and tries to get alongside and then bring down 'the plastics' from the 'in crowd' at the school. She discovers in doing so that she has herself become a 'Mean Girl'.
